About Jessica
"As individuals grow and develop throughout their lives, challenges will inevitably come, and managing these challenges often will experience moments where they feel stuck. Seeking help in these crucial moments matters and can be life-changing. I realized early as a youth that I wanted to help make a difference in people's lives. I believe no man is an island, and as social beings, we seek acceptance and a sense of belonging and to be understood.

My initial degree was in psychology, and following I pursued a graduate diploma in Psychosocial rehabilitation studies. I felt I needed to enhance the skills suited for the role of counselling and decided to pursue a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, which has been an intriguing journey.

Exploring all the possibilities and finding solutions that are person-centred would be my goal and seeing the positive outcomes would bring me the most joy. I intend to create a calming, non-judgmental, and friendly atmosphere where you would be free to share your stories and rewrite your narratives."

About Taylor

"My journey into counselling has been shaped by my deep passion for witnessing people grow, adapt, and find resilience in the face of life’s challenges. Growing up in a small rural town on the Sunshine Coast, I developed a strong connection to nature, animals, and my community that continues to influence my approach to therapy. I believe the natural environment fosters calmness and reflection, which is why I enjoy working with clients outdoors when possible.
I moved to Cranbrook to pursue a degree in teaching through the University of Victoria program while playing for the College of the Rockies Avalanche Volleyball team. Sport has always been more than a game to me. It has been a way to build connections, navigate challenges, and foster resilience in myself and others. Whether through my teammates, coaches, or the youth I’ve mentored, I have always been drawn to understanding people’s stories and supporting their growth.
Teaching reinforces this passion for connection. I love working with my students and often feel there is more to their experiences, struggles and aspirations than I have time to explore in a school day. That realization led me to pursue my Master’s in Counselling, where I could create space for people to be heard, understood, and supported.
My therapeutic approach is flexible and responsive to each client’s needs. I integrate solution-focused, person-centered, and psychodynamic approaches, helping clients explore both present solutions and deeper patterns that shape their experiences. Whether we focus on tangible steps forward, unpack past experiences, or simply create a space for reflection, my goal is to meet you where you are with empathy and respect."
